Wing-It Productions is dedicated to producing theatrical events to entertain, educate and enlighten audiences of all ages using theater and multimedia in all forms.
WIP's primary goal is to create improvisational-based theater in order to bring the art of improvisation into the mainstream of awareness in our culture.
Created in 1992, Jet City Improv, WIP's flagship production, continues to perform every weekend of the year, and has grown over the years into one of
Seattle's most popular theater experiences.
In 1997, WIP pioneered the first Twisted Flicks performance (an classic B-movie redubbed live), and this show remains an audience favorite by performing at our theater the last weekend of every month and is a staple
of the Fremont Outdoor Movies.
Since moving into the Historic University Theater, WIP began creating long-form improvised plays (beginning with The Lost Folio and Election Show, both in 2004). WIP continues to present six original long-form improvised plays per year, each running an average of two months.
WIP provides the community and its audiences with: high quality shows at low prices; entertainment appropriate for the entire family; innovative interactive theater; world premiere ensemble productions every two months; and education and outreach programs for at-risk youth, children's charities, adults, and seniors.
